Consumer Credit Counseling Service. is a non-profit, community service agency serving Nebraska and Iowa for over thirty years. Our service provides consumers with financial and housing counseling, debt repayment plans, consumer education, and assistance with reading credit reports and consumer issues.
When you call CCCS, one of our trained counselors will help you review your financial history, and help you determine your total income and living expenses, establishing a budget you can live with. You will be encouraged to take an in-depth look at your financial situation and learn how to enjoy a lifestyle within your financial means. Your CCCS counselor may recommend a Debt Management Program that helps you pay your debts by negotiating monthly payments to your creditors.
Whether you simply need assistance and advice in establishing a budget to help you achieve your financial goals or if the "buy now-pay later" way of life has you facing a pile of bills each month and you're only able to pay the "minimum amount due" on your statements, you could be headed for financial disaster.
